GIULIA RAPIZZA(Bergamo,
1991) holds a master degree
in Architecture from the
Accademia di Architettura in
Mendrisio and a postgraduate degree in Neuroscience applied
to Architecture from IUAV in Venice. After her bachelor she
worked at Ensemble Studio in Madrid and, during her master,
was selected for the WISH international workshop on social
housing at the Tokyo Institute of
Technology.
After graduating, she worked
at KAAN Architecten in
Rotterdam, joining the KL AIR
joint venture for the project of
the New Schiphol Terminal,
where she is still a collaborator.
She was invited to lecture at
the University of Technology in
Delft and IUAV Venice. As a kid,
she wanted to study literature
but chose architecture instead,
because she wanted to build
stories rather than telling them,
she still wonders if there’s a
difference. Her favorite dish is spaghetti al pomodoro. EDOARDO MANCINI(San
Severino Marche, 1987) holds a
master degree in Architecture
from the University of Florence
and a postgraduate degree in
Moving Images from IUAV
in Venice. He participated to
international workshops in Italy,
Russia and Switzerland focused
on public spaces.
Edoardo worked several years
in Florence before moving to
Rotterdam, where he worked
for Maxwan a+u and KAAN
Architecten. Since he was a
child he was playing with the
construction world, fascinated
by his dad’s masonry work. He
understood he would rather
investigate the essence of space,
exploring its visual dynamic and
perhaps filming it.
